However, no alert has been issued regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain bad on September 9 as well.

The Meteorological Department says that the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has now turned into a depression. It is located 410 km away from South Digha (West Bengal). It is expected to turn into a deep depression as it moves towards the North Odisha and West Bengal coasts during the next 24 hours. It is expected to move towards northern Odisha, Jharkhand and the northern part of the adjacent Chhattisgarh during the next two days. Due to this, heavy rains can be seen in the plains.
