Ingredients for making Pumpkin Paratha
Grated pumpkin – 200 grams
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Carom seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Green capsicum – 1-2
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1-2 teaspoons
salt to taste
To make Pumpkin Paratha, first wash the pumpkin thoroughly and peel it. Then grate it. – After this, add cumin, celery, garam masala, coriander powder, green chilies, green coriander leaves and salt to the grated pumpkin and mix well. – Now take flour in a bowl and knead it well. Remember that after kneading the dough, leave it for 10 minutes to harden.
After about 10 minutes, fill the prepared pumpkin stuffing in the dough ball and roll it in the same way as you roll potato or onion paratha. However, remember not to put too much stuffing in the paratha, otherwise the paratha may tear while rolling. – Now start rolling the paratha very thin from the edge. Actually, by doing this your paratha puffs up very well. – Now bake the rolled paratha on a hot pan. You can also use mustard oil, ghee or olive oil to bake the paratha. After this, you can serve hot paratha with curd, pickle or green chutney.
