Patna, Sep 12 (IANS) A large number of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were transferred in Bihar on Thursday. Superintendents of police of several districts have also been changed.
According to the Home Department notification, Aurangabad Superintendent of Police (SP) Swapna Gautam Meshram has been given the responsibility of Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police, Bodh Gaya. Whereas, Deepak Ranjan has been transferred from Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police, Bodh Gaya to the post of Assistant Inspector General of Police, Bihar Special Armed Police, Bihar.
Similarly, Shailesh Kumar Sinha has been assigned the responsibility of SP of Shivhar. While, Purnia SP Upendra Nath Verma has been given the responsibility of Commandant Bihar Special Armed Police Patna. Gaurav Mangala has been made Assistant Inspector General of Police, Railways, Patna, D. Amarkesh has been made Superintendent of Police, Cyber Training Portal and Coordination, Economic Offenses Unit, Pankaj Kumar has been made Superintendent of Police, State Crime Records Bureau and Kartikeya K. Sharma has been made SP of Purnia.
Apart from this, Vinay Tiwari has been made Superintendent of Police, Railway, Muzaffarpur, Ashok Mishra has been made SP of Samastipur, Anant Kumar Rai has been made Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police- 16, Swarn Prabhat has been made SP of East Champaran, Shaurya Suman has been made SP of West Champaran, Vineet Kumar has been made SP of Special Branch Patna and Amrish Rahul has been made SP of Aurangabad.
According to the notification, Pramod Kumar Yadav has been made SP of Special Task Force, Manish Kumar has been made SP of Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Vaibhav Sharma has been made SP of Katihar, Roshan Kumar has been made SP of Rohtas, Awadhesh Dixit has been made SP of Gopalganj, Bharat Soni has been made SP of Nalanda, Mr. Raj has been made SP of Bhojpur and Chandra Prakash has been made SP of Jamui.
Apart from this, Abhinav Dhiman has been appointed as SP of Nawada, Shubham Arya as SP of Buxar, Ajay Kumar as SP of Lakhisarai and Bambam Choudhary has been given the responsibility of SP of Surveillance Investigation Bureau.
