After the death of veteran Tamil filmmaker Dilli Babu, now another sad news has come from the South Industry. It is reported that famous singer of Telugu music industry Gurucharan passed away on Thursday at the age of 77. Gurucharan died on the morning of 12 September. The Telugu film industry and music industry are shocked by his sudden demise. Lyricist Gurucharan was known for his evergreen songs in Telugu cinema. In his career, he wrote songs for actors like Mohan Babu. His body has been brought to his residence. Lyricist Gurucharan was recently admitted to the hospital due to age-related illnesses and was undergoing treatment for several months.

Saddened by the demise of his dear friend, actor Mohan Babu expressed his condolences on his x handle. He wrote, ‘I knew Gurucharan when he was working as an assistant writer for the famous writer Atreya. He worked as a lyricist for about 10 films under my banner Srilakshmi Prasanna Pictures.’ He further added, ‘All the songs he wrote for films like Alludugaru, Assembly Rowdy, Rowdigari Pellam, Brahma etc. are amazing. Condoling his untimely death, I pray to God to grant peace to his soul and peace to his family. I am in another country and cannot see him, I am sorry. Om Shanti.’
Lyricist Gurcharan said goodbye to the industry
Gurucharan has written the lyrics for songs like ‘Kunti Kumari’, ‘Muddabanti Puvulo’, ‘Alludugaru’ and many more. He has written the lyrics for more than 200 songs in the Telugu language. On the other hand, veteran actor Mohan Babu also started his career in showbiz in the mid-70s. He also worked as an assistant director before becoming a famous actor. His real name is Manchu Bhaktavatsalam Naidu, but he changed his stage name to Mohan Babu after the success of his film ‘Swargam Narakam’. So far, he has reportedly worked in more than 500 films. Next, he will be seen in the lead role in the film ‘Kannappa’ starring Vishnu Manchu.
