New Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS) 22 Indian companies have found a place in the list of Best Companies of 2024 released on Friday by the prestigious Time magazine.
To prepare this list, companies were assessed on the basis of transparency in sustainability, employee satisfaction and revenue growth.
American company Apple has been ranked first in the list. Ireland’s Accenture is in second place and America’s Microsoft is in third place. Apart from this, German automobile manufacturer BMW and American multinational company Amazon are in the top five respectively.
Electricité de France, American Express, Meta Platforms, Siemens and JPMorgan are ranked sixth to 10th, respectively.
Among Indian companies, IT companies dominated the Time’s list. HCL Tech is at the top at 112th place. Infosys is at 119th place and Wipro is at 134th place. Mahindra Group has been ranked 187th.
After this, three companies from the banking sector have got a place. Axis Bank is at 504th position, State Bank of India at 518th and ICICI Bank at 525th position.
Other Indian companies in the list are Larsen & Toubro (549), Kotak Mahindra Bank (551), ITC (586), Hero MotoCorp (597), Reliance Industries (646), Motherson Group (697), Adani Group (736), NTPC (752), Yes Bank (783), Bank of Baroda (850), Godrej & Boyce (921), Bajaj Group (952), Cipla (957), Bharat Electronics (987) and MRF (993).
