West Bengal News Desk!!! Two women have been brutally treated in Mayureshwar of Birbhum district of West Bengal. The mob beat both the women calling them witches, took off their clothes and beat them so badly in a crowded gathering that both of them fainted. It is being told that the people of the tribal society called a Khap Panchayat and treated the two women brutally. A video of this has also surfaced.
It is being told that two tribal women named Lodgi Kisku and Dolly Soren were forcibly taken away from their house by the villagers by calling them witches. In a crowded gathering, they were first stripped of their clothes and then brutally beaten with kicks, punches and sticks. Both the women were beaten so badly that they fainted. When they fell ill, people threw both the women alive into the irrigation canal of the area, in which both of them died.

People were so aggressive that they even made a video of this incident and made it viral. In the video, it is seen that a large crowd is standing surrounding both the women and trying to kill them. One woman is apologizing with folded hands while the other woman is raining slaps on the other woman.
After receiving information about the incident, the police force reached the spot and started investigating the incident. A large number of police forces have also been deployed in the area. The police have taken out the body from the canal and sent it to Rampur Heart Medical College for post-mortem. It is being told that the police have arrested 6 people in this case so far.
The deceased’s daughter Rani Kisku said that the people of the area came to the house in the dark of the night and forcibly took her mother from the house and beat her brutally. I don’t know where they took my mother. I searched a lot for my mother but she was nowhere to be found. In the morning I came to know that my mother was murdered and her body was thrown into the canal. Now Rani demands that the accused be hanged. The police is conducting raids to catch the accused.
