The magician who did magic in Amethi
Ashok Gehlot is called the magician of politics. This time in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress appointed him as the special observer for Amethi Lok Sabha constituency. Here the Congress candidate surprised everyone by defeating Smriti Irani. Gehlot was resting at home for about three months on the advice of the doctor due to suffering from slip disc, but on September 6, he tweeted that now I am healthy. After this, Congress first included him in the list of star campaigners of Haryana and now appointed him as the senior observer of Haryana elections.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Maken was appointed as the observer during the Chhattisgarh assembly elections. Maken has been appointed as observer in many states earlier as well. Pratap Singh Bajwa was appointed as the observer during the Himachal Pradesh elections. Pratap Singh Bajwa is also the Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly.
Responsibility from election management to forming the government
The Senior Observer is responsible for everything from election management, election campaign, manifesto to forming the government and then deciding the name of the CM.
The high command fears loss due to factionalism
Factionalism has increased in the Congress after ticket distribution in the Haryana elections. The party is divided into factions of Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Kumari Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala. In such a situation, the Congress has appointed observers to oversee the elections. Ashok Gehlot, Ajay Maken and the leader of the opposition party in the Punjab Assembly, Pratap Singh Bajwa, have been sent for monitoring.
