Recently, Masaba told in an interview how she has to face trolling on social media for her skin and body. She told how she is compared to late actor Om Puri due to pimples and blemishes on her face.

During an exclusive conversation with Faye D’Souza on her YouTube channel, Masaba revealed that she did not apply any filter on her face to show the skin tint of her brand on Instagram so that her face does not get blurred. Recalling a comment on this post, Masaba said, “Someone wrote, but what are you doing with a makeup brand, your skin is like Om Puri’s.”
She said people often focus on her skin texture and her acne and scars. “That’s why I want to do more and be more successful. This is my fight. Hopefully after 10 years, someone will say they can see me beyond my scars,” she said.
