Rape With Dead Bodies: Police have arrested a 40-year-old man who is suspected of digging up the grave of a recently buried woman at the Korangi cemetery and sexually abusing the body.
The police have also registered a case against the man. The complainant said in the FIR, I buried my mother in the cemetery on Thursday evening.
At around 10:30 pm, he found out that the suspect had damaged the grave and tampered with the body. However, some people in the area caught him.
Four women’s corpses were sexually abused
They thrashed her and in the meantime the local police arrived at the spot and took the suspect into custody. Later, Korangi police said in a statement that the suspect was arrested for rape at Bagh-e-Korangi Cemetery.
During interrogation, he told the police that he used to keep an eye on the burial of women in the graveyard and at night he would dig graves to commit heinous crimes with the dead.
He revealed that he had sexually exploited the corpses of four women, the police statement said.
Awami Colony police registered a case against the arrested suspect based on the complaint by the deceased woman’s son under sections 297 (trespassing into graveyard, etc), 376 (punishment for rape) and 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
