Former President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and leader of Akali Sudhar wave Bibi Jagir Kaur has supported the statement of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on the insecurity of Sikhs in India during his US visit. Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the truth has come out of Rahul Gandhi’s mouth. At present, not only Sikhs but also minorities are insecure in India, especially Punjab. Especially, governments and agencies get angry on seeing the turban of Sikhs here. She said that if there were no Sikhs or Punjabis, Pakistan would have ruled Delhi. Bibi Jagir Kaur said that since Rahul Gandhi is the Leader of Opposition, it is his duty to raise his voice for the Sikh riots of 1984 and create an environment or pressure on the central government to collectively apologize to the Sikhs.
