IND vs BAN Test Match 2024 Update: A two-match Test series will be played between India and Bangladesh. The first Test match between these two teams will be played from 19th September. Both the teams have started preparations for it. However, in the meantime, the best batsman of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, has gifted his bat to one of his teammates. This player has got a place in Team India.

Virat Kohli gave his bat to Akash Deep

Actually, Virat Kohli will be seen in the white jersey after about 9 months. However, this time many young players have also been included in the team. One name in this episode is also of fast bowler Akash Deep, who made his Test debut against England in February 2024. Let us tell you that Akash Deep has been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the IPL.

Akashdeep has shared a photo on social media, in which Akashdeep has mentioned a special gift which he has received from Virat Kohli. Let us tell you that Virat Kohli has given his bat to Akashdeep as a gift. Earlier, Virat Kohli had gifted his bat to Rinku Singh and now Akashdeep has become the second player in this list who has received a gift from Virat Kohli.

Let us tell you that Virat and Akash Deep will be seen together on the field for the first time in the Test match against Bangladesh. Although both these players have played for the same team in IPL, but this will be the first time in international cricket.

The Indian squad for the Test match against Bangladesh is as follows:

Rohit Sharma (captain), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Sarfaraz Khan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah and Yash Dayal.
