Atishi was one of the founding members of the Aam Aadmi Party
Atishi, who entered politics during the anti-corruption movement in 2012, is one of the founding members of AAP. In 2019, she contested from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat. But she faced defeat. Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir defeated her. In 2020, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gave her a ticket from Kalkaji assembly seat. After winning, she was made a minister.
According to the affidavit she submitted to the Election Commission regarding her property in this election, Atishi has only Rs 30,000 in cash. Her deposits in banks and other business firms are more than Rs 1.41 crore. This includes her husband’s income as well. Atishi has property worth more than one crore, but she does not have any land in her name.
Policy of Rs 5 lakh
He has no liabilities. He has not made any investments in the stock market and bonds either. But he has an LIC policy of Rs 5 lakh in his name. Most of his assets are in his bank accounts and fixed deposits. He had submitted this affidavit before the Election Commission during the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections.
