Telephone pole placed on the railway line about five hundred meters away

The driver saw a big telephone pole on the Rampur-Kathgodam railway line about five hundred meters away from Rudrapur railway station. At first the driver thought that there was a pipe placed there, on seeing which he immediately applied emergency brakes.
After this, the driver immediately removed the pole from the railway track and then stopped the train at Rudrapur railway station. The railway department and police were immediately informed about this. Investigation is going on in this case and the police believe that it is possible that during the theft, the accused might have left the pole on the track and fled for some reason.
