The effect of cold started increasing in Delhi
According to the Meteorological Department, this time Delhi is likely to be very cold. Monsoon rains have been occurring daily in Delhi-NCR since August 1. There was good rain in the morning yesterday as well, due to which the minimum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 21 degrees in the month of September itself. This temperature was 4 degrees below normal and after 15 years it happened that Delhi started feeling cold in September itself. Delhi remained cloudy this morning as well. Due to cyclone Yagi, there is a possibility of light rain by evening. Also, people will get relief from heat and humidity. The Meteorological Department has not issued an alert of heavy or very heavy rain in any state on September 21. Clouds may rain at some places in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The weather will remain the same in future as well
According to the weather department forecast, monsoon will be halted across the country from today. In such a situation, there is no possibility of heavy rain in any state for the next 4-5 days, but there will be a red alert for heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar on 20 and 21 September. There will be no heavy rain anywhere on 21 September. There may be heavy rain in Northeast India and Odisha on 22 September. The weather will once again turn bad from 23 September and Northeast, Central, North India will remain cloudy.
