CTET December 2024 Exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the exam dates of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Candidates appearing in this can check the complete exam schedule on the official website ctet.nic.in. According to the notice issued by the board, CTET 2024 December exam will be held on December 15. Earlier this exam was to be held on December 1. Let us tell you that this amendment has been made for administrative reasons.

What was said in the notice?

The official notice reads, ‘This is in continuation of this office letter No. F. No. CBSE/CTET/December/2024/E-73233 dated 13.09.2024 wherein it was notified that the 20th edition of CTET is scheduled on 01 December 2024 in 136 cities all over the country. Now, due to administrative reasons, the CTET has been rescheduled to 15 December 2024 (Sunday).’

When will the exam be held?

The exam will be conducted at 136 exam centers. In case there are more candidates in a city, the board will conduct the CTET December 2024 exam on December 14.

The registration process for CTET 2024 December exam has started. Candidates can submit their applications online before October 16. No application will be considered after the due date. The official notice states that no other changes will be made in the exam registration process. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the latest updates.

CTET 2024: Exam Pattern

All the questions in CTET will be multiple choice questions (MCQs), in which four options will be given, out of which one answer will be the most correct. Each question will be of one mark. Also, there will be no negative marking in this exam. Remember that there will be two papers in CTET.

Paper I will be for the person who wants to become a teacher for classes I to V. This paper will have 150 questions carrying 150 marks. Paper II will be for the person who wants to become a teacher for classes VI to VI. This paper will have 210 questions carrying 210 marks.
