This is an amazing thing, that when the government has to be formed, the majority will be considered and when laws have to be implemented, the minority will be considered, what the minorities want. Hey, the minorities can want something, whatever the majority wants will happen in this country and the majority in this country are Hindus. Targeting the government in this matter, he called it the result of government’s negligence. He said that adding unholy ingredients in the prasad of Tirupati is a crime against the entire Hindu community, in this case he demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and filing a case in the court. Also, he demanded that a big committee be formed and the culprits be investigated and given severe punishment.
Shankaracharya also congratulated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for exposing this matter and said that if there was no truth in the allegations, Naidu would have been surrounded by now. He said that all the temples of Sanatan Dharma should be free from government control, because if secular governments remain in religious places, this will be the result. The incident in Tirupati makes Hindus aware that government interference in religious places should end.
