While addressing an election rally in Mendhar, Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Abdullah, Mufti and Nehru-Gandhi family have spread terrorism and terror in entire Jammu and Kashmir from the 90s to 2014. 40 thousand youth were killed, ruined their future with stones in their hands, these three families did not stop terrorism but encouraged it. Today, the BJP government led by Narendra Modi has worked to end terrorism and terror in Jammu and Kashmir. The youth here have been given laptops instead of stones. Amit Shah said, I declare here today that we will not allow terrorism to enter the beautiful valleys of Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah said that the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir are elections that will end the rule of three families – Abdullah, Mufti and Nehru-Gandhi. It is important because these three families had stopped democracy. These three families had hindered democracy. If Narendra Modi’s government had not come in 2014, would there have been elections for local panchayat, block and district panchayat here? Today, elected members of block and district panchayat are sitting on this stage, this shows the change from dynastic rule. If there were no elections, these people would never have got a chance.
