According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal on Monday, 23 September. This low pressure area is likely to form in the northwest and central-west of the Bay of Bengal. Due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there may be rain in the Himalayan areas of West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura. There is also a possibility of very humid heat in these states.
Talking about the country’s capital Delhi, there may be light clouds. There is no possibility of rain in Delhi for the next one week. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has said that there may be light rain at some places in the eastern part of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur and Kota. There will be no rain in the western parts of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted a decrease in rain in Rajasthan after September 23.
The weather department’s prediction is proving to be true. The weather department had earlier predicted that this year, due to the effect of La Nina, there will be more than average rainfall across the country. Apart from this, the weather department had recently predicted that a low pressure area may form in the Bay of Bengal every week of September and this will continue the rain till the first week of October. The weather department has also predicted that people will have to face severe cold this year after some time of the departure of monsoon. Let us tell you that this year the heat was also intense. During the La Nina effect, the sea surface also becomes hot along with the land. On the other hand, during the El Nino effect, the temperature of the sea surface is less than that of the land. In such a situation, there is very less rainfall.
