Water connections of 11 houses in Palam Vihar will be cut
The Town and Country Planning Department has taken a tough stand on 16 flats each illegally constructed on 11 residential plots in Gurugram’s Palam Vihar. On Friday, the DTPE has written a letter to the Municipal Corporation, DHBVN and the Tehsildar. The Municipal Corporation has been requested to disconnect the water and sewer connections, while the electricity connections will be disconnected by DHBVN.
In this way, the Tehsildar has been requested not to register the illegally constructed flats in these houses. This action will be taken against houses number 913, 921, 922, 924, 935, 951, 956, 979B, 1226, 1251, 1310 in C-2 block of Palam Vihar. The RWA of this colony has filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court against the illegally constructed flats in these houses.
The High Court has issued a notice to the Town and Country Planning Department in this matter and has sought a reply. Now, in order to file a reply in the High Court, the DTPE office has started taking strict departmental action against these flats. RWA officials have alleged that these houses were built due to the connivance of the officials. The flats were registered and electricity connections were also provided.
