A bike rider died on the spot in a road accident in Vadodara district of Gujarat. The video of the incident has been recorded in CCTV which is terrifying. A 23-year-old youth died in the incident. The youth’s bike first collided with an SUV and then with a pickup van. Due to which he died on the spot while the bike fell at some distance. It is being told that the incident took place in Waghodiya city last week. Its video is going viral on social media.

In the CCTV footage, a Mahindra SUV can be seen slowing down to take a U-turn. It is not clear if the right indicator is on or not. As the car turns, a speeding bike collides with it. The biker falls off the two-wheeler and is hit by a pick-up coming from the other direction before falling on the road. The youth dies on the spot.

The deceased youth has been identified as Mehul. His father Praveen Tadvi has said in a complaint to the police that 23-year-old Mehul Waghodiya worked in GIDC and had bought a bike six months ago. On the day of the incident, he left for work at around 8 am. In the afternoon, Mehul’s father called him and told him that there was no food at home. He asked his son to buy food from a restaurant and bring it home. He met with an accident while he was on the way.

The accident took place in Waghodiya town of Vadodara district of Gujarat. The police have registered a case and the investigation is on. Let us tell you that according to the report of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways last year, more than 4.6 lakh road accidents occurred in India in 2022. 1.68 lakh people lost their lives and 4.43 lakh people were injured in these accidents. The 2022 report saw an increase of 11.9 percent in accidents and 9.4 percent in deaths as compared to last year.
