Senior BJP leader CT Ravi said that Nizam had tried to promote Urdu in Hyderabad, Karnataka region in his time. Kannada schools were banned during his time. After this Nizam fled the country. Now the ghost of Nizam has entered the Congress. Congress is working like Nizam. Along with this, Tipu Sultan, in his era, tried to impose Persian language against Kannada. Today Congress is trying to turn the dreams of Tipu Sultan and Nizam into reality. This is anti-Kannada mentality.
Let us tell you that under the new order of the Women and Child Welfare Department of Karnataka, Urdu language along with Kannada has been made compulsory for the recruitment of Anganwadi teacher posts in areas with 25 percent Muslim population. At the same time, people of BJP and other social organizations are protesting against this order. People of Kannada society have accused the Congress-led Siddaramaiah government of the state of giving priority to Urdu for minority recruitment and have demanded immediate withdrawal of this order. It has been said that if the government does not withdraw this decision, then protests will be held on the streets.
