Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah has got a setback from the Karnataka High Court. Siddaramaiah’s petition in the MUDA case has been rejected by the High Court. It has been said from the High Court that a case will be filed against Siddaramaiah in the land scam. Let us tell you that today the Karnataka High Court has given its verdict on the petition of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah challenging the order of the Governor. Actually, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot had given approval for the investigation against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the Mysore Urban Development Authority site allotment case. After getting this approval from the Governor, an application was filed by Siddaramaiah in the High Court.

In such a situation, Siddaramaiah’s troubles are sure to increase. The lawyer of the other side says that if they are not satisfied with the action of the Lokayukta, they can demand a CBI inquiry.

Appeal can go before double bench

According to sources in the CM office, an appeal can be filed before the double bench against the decision of the single constitutional bench tomorrow itself. An appeal can be made to stop the hearing in the People’s Representative Court until the hearing of this petition is completed. If the double bench accepts the petition for hearing, then Siddaramaiah will get relief.

What will happen in the Public Representative Court?

The copy of today’s High Court order will be available to the People’s Representative Court tomorrow. Tomorrow or the day after, the People’s Representative Court can issue orders to register a case against the CM. In such a situation, an FIR can also be filed against Siddaramaiah within this week. Whether the Lokayukta police will investigate this or the investigation will be handed over to a separate wing of the Karnataka Police will depend on the court under consideration.

CM’s hopes are now pinned on the double bench. CM camp has made it clear that if relief is not obtained from the double bench, then Supreme Court will be approached and till then Siddaramaiah is not in a mood to resign.
