Shocking revelations have come out in the investigation of the death of a six-year-old girl in Dahod district of Gujarat. The first class student was strangled to death by her school principal because she resisted his attempts to sexually assault her. The principal killed the girl and threw her body in the school premises and her bag and shoes near the classroom. Police have arrested the accused 55-year-old Govind Nat. Regarding the case, Gujarat Congress claimed that the accused principal is close to BJP and RSS.
Allegation of Parthivraj Kathwadia
Gujarat Congress spokesperson Parthivraj Kathwadia shared some photos in which the accused can allegedly be seen sitting with former state minister Arjun Singh Chauhan and attending an event in RSS attire. He said, “Govind Nat is a political person. In the photos available on social media, Nat can be seen with BJP leaders and also in the programs of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Vishwa Hindu Parishad.”
What did the Education Minister say on the incident?
“It is clear from such cases that our daughters are not safe under the BJP rule in Gujarat. These incidents are a blot on the education sector and parents are worried,” Kathwadia said in a statement. Reacting to the allegations, Gujarat Education Minister Kuber Dindor said his department was working closely with the police to solve the crime as soon as possible. “We worked closely with the police. This is a shameful act committed by a principal. Thanks to our efforts, the police managed to catch him within 24 hours and put him behind bars. We have already suspended him and our government will ensure that the case is tried in a ‘fast track court’ for speedy justice,” Kuber said.
