Arvind Kejriwal : Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party from the Vidhan Sabha. He said that Modi ji is very powerful, has a lot of money, many resources, but he is not God. He said that there is some power in this world, it is with us.
Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said in the assembly that I have been released from jail with the blessings of crores of people. I thank the Supreme Court. Today there is a justice system in our country. He said that today I went to inspect a road with the Chief Minister. Earlier the roads in Delhi University used to be very good, but today the condition is very bad. We have asked the CM to get the roads repaired, he has given orders.
What kind of politics is this?
Arvind Kejriwal launched a big attack on PM Modi and BJP and said that I met a big BJP leader and asked him what did I get by getting arrested? On this, he laughed and said, I have brought Delhi to a standstill for you. He said that what kind of politics is this that people are happy by ruining the lives of two crore people of Delhi. Can the level of politics fall so low? He further said that these people (BJP) wanted to defame me and AAP.
If you stop work, people will not vote for you.
He said that the people of Delhi have sent BJP on exile for 27 years, but now they want to harass the public and take votes. Taking a jibe at BJP, he said that I have built 500 Mohalla Clinics in Delhi and you build five thousand, who is stopping you. He accused BJP of stopping the medicines and tests of Mohalla Clinics. He said that if work is stopped, people will not vote for you. In my absence, construction of roads in Delhi was stopped, you get them built. People of Delhi would have voted for you, who would have asked us.
He said that you would have got all the work done in Delhi, we would have been left with no work. He said that we used to take the elderly to many religious places including Puri, Shirdi, Haridwar and Vaishno Devi, but that has also been stopped. He said sarcastically that you people should also go on a pilgrimage, so that your mind gets peace. You have also stopped the pension of the elderly.
Despite being put in jail, my party stands strong
The former CM said that there are only two things in the minds of the people of Delhi, one is that Kejriwal is very honest, he cannot be dishonest and secondly he works for the people. These people (BJP) wanted to attack these two things. I was put in jail, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Satyendra Jain and Vibhav Kumar were put in jail. He said that five leaders of my party were put in jail, despite this our party is standing strong. We want to challenge the BJP to put two of its leaders in jail, their entire party will break.
You should fear god a little
He said that such a law was imposed on me that bail is not even available. Despite this, the Supreme Court granted bail. He said that after coming out of jail, I immediately resigned, no one asked me for it. During this, he told the people of Delhi that if I am honest, then only vote for me. I want to tell the people here that your son and brother have come now, now I will not let you face trouble. I will start all the work that is stopped in Delhi, whatever has to be done for this, I will do it. He further said that even Raad’s pride did not stand, you too should fear God a little. In the elections, the people of Delhi will answer, whether they like those who stop work or those who work.
