Sri Lanka’s new PM Harini Amara Surya: Harini Amara Surya (Harini Amra Surya) Has been elected as the new Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.
Amara Surya has been given the charge of the ministries of Justice, Education, Labour, Industry, Science and Technology, Health and Investment.
He has taken this responsibility in place of PM Dinesh Gunawardene. The new Prime Minister of Sri Lanka has a deep connection with India.
Harini Amarasuriya, who took charge as the 16th Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, is 54 years old. Amarasooriya studied at the University of Delhi, India.
PhD in Social Humanities from University of Edinburgh. She has been a lecturer at the University of Sri Lanka. His vision and ideas have established him as an inspirational leader.

Amarasuriya’s batchmate and now famous Bollywood director Nalin Rajan Singh has recalled his student days. He said that I remember her, I know that she used to be very involved in college festivals and debates.
It was the 90s, and for many of us people like Imtiaz Ali and Arnab Goswami were starting to make their mark. It is wonderful to see him becoming Prime Minister.
On the other hand, Singh, former President of Hindu College, said that Amarasuriya’s new role will further strengthen relations between India and Sri Lanka.
