NIA on Friday raided several places in Rajouri and Reasi districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials have said that several teams have been conducting raids in Rajouri and Reasi districts since Friday morning in connection with the Shiv Khodi terror attack. He told that the NIA operation is still going on and more information is awaited in this matter.

On June 9, terrorists had ambushed and opened fire on a bus full of devotees going to Vaishno Devi. Nine people, including seven pilgrims, were killed and 41 others were injured in this terrorist attack. The bus going from Shiv Khodi temple to Katra slipped off the road and fell into a deep ditch near Terayath village in Pauni area of Reasi due to indiscriminate firing. Home Minister Amit Shah had handed over the responsibility of investigating this terrorist attack to NIA on June 17.

Earlier on June 30, NIA had also raided five places in Rajouri linked to hybrid terrorists and their overground workers.
