A mountain of sorrows broke on Jitiya festival in Bihar, 46 people including 37 children lost their lives.

A terrible incident has come to light from Bihar. Everyone’s heart is shaken by such a terrible accident that happened on the auspicious occasion of Jitiya festival. It has been told that about 46 people from different districts have lost their lives due to drowning. Those who drowned included 37 children, 7 women and two men.

Compensation announced by the government

Giving this information, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that compensation will be given to the families of all the deceased. It has been announced to give him Rs 4 lakh as compensation. So far, compensation amount has been provided to the families of 8 deceased. Efforts are being made to provide relief to the remaining people also.

All these incidents have taken place in East Champaran, West Champaran, Nalanda, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Buxar, Siwan, Rohtas, Saran, Patna, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Gopalganj and Arwal.
