‘मन की बात’ में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने रोजगार के नए अवसरों से युवाओं का कराया परिचय

New Delhi, September 29 (IANS). In the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the youth to the increasing employment in the field of creativity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in these changing times, the nature of work is changing and new sectors are emerging.

PM Modi said that if you can perform well in any skill like gaming, animation, reel making, film making or post making, then your talent can get a huge platform, if you are associated with any band or community radio. Even if you work for, there is a huge opportunity for you. To promote your talent and creativity, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has launched 25 challenges under the theme “Create in India”. You will definitely find these challenges interesting.

PM Modi further said, “Some challenges are focused on music, education and even anti-piracy. Many business organizations are also involved in this event, which are giving their full support to these challenges. Creators from across the country I have a special request to them that they must take part in this and bring out their creativity.”

PM Modi also talked about the completion of 10 years of Make in India. He said, the success of this campaign includes “contribution from big industries to small shopkeepers of the country. It gives me great pleasure to see that the poor, middle class and MSMEs are getting a lot of benefit from this campaign. The campaign has given an opportunity to people of every section to showcase their talent and because of the youth power of the country, the world is eyeing us. Be it automobile, textile or aviation. Be it electronics or defence, the country’s exports are continuously increasing. The continuous increase in FDI in the country also tells the story of the success of our ‘Make in India’.”

PM Modi further said that now we are mainly focusing on two things. The first is ‘quality’, that is, the things made in our country should be of global standard. The second is ‘Vocal for Local’, that is, local things should be promoted as much as possible. In ‘Mann Ki Baat’ we have also discussed ‘My Product My Pride’.

The PM said that the people of the country benefit by promoting local products. For this he gave the example of textile industry in Bhandara district of Maharashtra. There is a huge participation of women in these. This silk is becoming increasingly popular and is empowering local communities.

PM Modi appealed to the people to take forward Make in India. He said, whatever you buy, it should be ‘Made in India’, whatever you gift, it should also be ‘Made in India’. Just buying earthen lamps is not ‘vocal for local’. You should promote local products made in your area as much as possible. Any such product, which has taken the sweat of an Indian artisan, which is made in the soil of India, is our pride. We have to always enhance this pride.

PM Modi also congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of the upcoming festive season.
