Floods and landslides in Nepal: Due to severe rains, floods and landslides in Nepal, there has been a huge loss of life and property. Till now the number of people who lost their lives has increased to 170. Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police are working together in the relief operation.

Many vehicles were buried under the debris due to the landslide that came down from the hill. Bodies are being pulled out from the debris. The bodies are being taken to the capital Kathmandu for post-mortem and handed over to the families.
A joint team of Kathmandu and Dhading police is searching and digging out bodies from the debris. It is said that the vehicle was going from Butwal to Kathmandu.
On Sunday, 21 more bodies were recovered from the disaster site in two additional vehicles. Security personnel recovered 16 bodies from a mini bus that had left from Chitwan and 5 bodies from a bus that had left from Gorkha district.
