On the left is me in my awkward teenage years, when I sported a ‘boy cut’ hairstyle so it wouldn’t look cumbersome at school. (Thanks mom) I came to this from ‘Katori Cut’. So that was a win. And on the right is the 17-year-old me who won the Miss India title in the year 2000 and was basking in the glitter of hair, makeup and clothes. Both photographs were taken less than a decade apart.

The actress further wrote, ‘As Britney Spears has said very clearly… I am not a girl, not yet a woman. That’s exactly how I felt when I entered the big world of entertainment.
