gate 2025 registration
Online applications without late fees for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) will close today, October 3. Those who have not yet submitted their online applications can do so through online mode on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Moreover, candidates can submit their applications till October 7 with late fees. Earlier, the last date for submitting applications without late fees was 26 September. However, it was extended after several requests were made by the applicants.
GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 at various examination centers across the country, with two shifts each day. Candidates will soon get the admit card release and other information on the official website.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
Candidates who are studying in the final year or higher years of a graduate degree program or have already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities are eligible to apply. Are eligible.

There is no age limit to apply for this exam.
Application Fee
Women/SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Rs. Rs.900/- (Regular Term); 1400 (extended period)
All other candidates including foreign nationals: Rs. Rs.1800/- (Regular Term); Rupee. 2300 (Extended Period)
How to apply?
Apply for GATE 2025 by paying the required application fee through the website (https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in) should be submitted online. Photograph, signature, category certificate (SC/ST/PWD) and/or dyslexic certificate, wherever applicable, should be uploaded during the online application. Candidates must enter valid photo identification (ID) number as specified in any one of the following IDs: Aadhaar UID (preferable), Aadhaar Virtual ID, Government issued ID, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID and Driving License.
