Mahindra ZEO
Electric 3-wheeler company Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has today announced the official launch of Mahindra ZEO. This is a new electric four-wheeler. The name ‘ZEO’ stands for “zero emissions option”, reflecting the environmental benefits of the electric vehicle. This vehicle is available in two variants. Mahindra ZEO has been specifically designed to meet the evolving demands of urban logistics. The starting price of Mahindra ZEO is ₹7.52 Lakh. Compared to a diesel SCV, customers can save up to ₹ 7 lakh over seven years with the Mahindra ZEO.
Top speed of 60 km/h
The motor of Mahindra ZEO provides 30 kW power and 114 Nm torque. The powerful 21.3 kWh liquid-cooled battery delivers a power-packed performance. With a top speed of 60 km/h, ZEO ensures faster journeys and higher earning potential. Mahindra ZEO’s superior payload capacity of up to 765 kg provides adaptability to various business requirements. A large 2250 mm cargo box enhances the loading capacity.
160 km driving range
The actual driving range of Mahindra ZEO is 160 kilometers. This is further enhanced by the regenerative braking system, which helps in increasing the range. The vehicle comes with two driving modes – Eco and Power, which increases range and reduces turnaround time. Mahindra ZEO, with DC fast charger, gives a range of 100 km in 60 minutes. Different charger configurations are available with the Mahindra ZEO, with an on-board 3.3 kW unit provided as standard.
