Lucknow, October 5 (IANS). Another important step has been taken by the Yogi government in the direction of making the unemployed young men and women of the backward classes of the state empowered and self-reliant.
The second phase of the computer training scheme is being started under the financial year 2024-25. Under this scheme, ‘O’ Level and Triple C’ computer training will be provided, this will provide better employment opportunities to the youth of backward classes in the digital age.
Yogi government’s Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Class Welfare and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Narendra Kashyap said that it is the government’s effort to make the youth of backward classes employable by providing them technical skills. Through computer training, young men and women will be able to enhance their abilities, so that they can become self-reliant and economically empowered in the society.
He said that the objective of this training program is to promote digital literacy and prepare the youth according to global technological standards.
Director of Backward Class Welfare Department, Dr. Vandana Verma said that this training is for those unemployed youth of backward classes who have passed the intermediate examination and whose parents’ annual income is up to Rs 1 lakh.
Applicants can apply online from 10 October 2024 to 30 October 2024. Application can be made by visiting the official website of Backward Classes Welfare Department or computer training portal.
Eligible candidates will be selected after scrutiny and verification of the applications received at the district level.
This process will be completed from 25 October to 14 November. The training of selected candidates will start from 15th November.
