During this, devotees worship Goddess Durga duly and They also observe fasts etc. It is believed that by doing so, the blessings of Mother Goddess are showered.
This year, Shardiya Navratri has started on Thursday, 3rd October and will end on 11th October. During the nine days of Navratri, nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped and fasts etc. are also observed. It is believed that doing so increases the auspicious results.
The third day of Navratri is dedicated to Mother Chandraghanta and today i.e. Saturday, 5th October, devotees are worshiping the Chandraghanta form of Mother Goddess. It is believed that by worshiping the Goddess, sorrows and problems go away and happiness comes in life. In such a situation, if you are worshiping Goddess Chandraghanta during Navratri, then definitely chant her favorite stotras and mantras, by doing this you will receive immense blessings from the Goddess.
