Maldives President Muizzoo will be on a visit to India from 6 to 10 October. This will be the first state bilateral visit of President Dr. Muizzu to India. He had earlier visited India in June 2024 to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his council of ministers. This time during his visit to India, Muizzu will meet PM Modi and President Draupadi Murmu. He will discuss with Prime Minister Narendra Modi bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest to India and Maldives. After this he will also go to Mumbai and Bengaluru, where he will participate in business programs.
