To make hair black, take 2 tablespoons of green henna. Now add 2 spoons fenugreek seeds, 2 spoons tea leaves, 2 spoons rice, 1 spoon coffee, 1 spoon cloves in a pan and add 1 cup water.
Cook all this on normal flame for 10 minutes and let it cool slightly. Now filter this water and add it little by little and mix it in henna. Mehndi has to be dissolved with this water. Now keep the mehendi to set for 15 minutes.
Here we have prepared 2 spoons of mehendi to be applied on the heads of boys. You can apply more or less henna according to the length of your hair. Apply henna on hair and cover it well with a shower cap or polythene.
Keep the mehndi applied like this for about 4 hours. After the time is over, wash the mehendi with normal water. Keep in mind that shampoo should not be done immediately after Mehndi. After drying the hair, apply oil and then wash the hair with shampoo the next day.
