His son was Akhtar Hussain. Zahida is his daughter. After this Jaddanbai held Mohan Babu’s hand. After marriage, he also accepted Islam. Nargis is the daughter of both of them. Nargis and Zahid are brother-sister in relation and because of this relation, Zahida and Sanjay Dutt are also brother-sister.
This is how I got my chance in films
Very few people know that Dev Anand gave Zahida her first chance in Bollywood. He did not do many films, but with a few films he made his mark in cinema. Zahida Hussain’s first lead film was ‘Anokhi Raat’ which was released in the year 1968. After this, Zahida did ‘Prem Pujari’ which was released in the year 1970. In this also she was seen with Dev Anand. Meanwhile, she gave her heart to Dev Anand. Due to this, he rejected the offer of the film ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’. In this film, she was given the role of Dev Anand’s sister. But she wanted to be his girlfriend in the film. When this did not happen, he refused to do the film.

Zahida said goodbye to cinema after a few years. She married businessman Kesari Nandan Sahay and stayed away from films. Zahida has two sons, one of whom is Nilesh Sahay who has appeared on the big screen. Nilesh made his debut with Ganesh Acharya’s film ‘Angel’ released in 2011.
