10 October Kanya Pujan Muhurat 2024: Saptami of Shardiya Navratri is known as Maha Saptami. On the Saptami Tithi of Navratri, there is a tradition of worshiping Maa Kalratri, the seventh form of Maa Durga. According to astrological calculations, both Saptami and Ashtami will prevail on 10th October. Due to which there is confusion among the people regarding Saptami and Ashtami Tithi. When will be the best time to observe Saptami fast – According to astrological calculations, Saptami Tithi will be from 12:14 pm on 09 October 2024 to 12:31 pm on 10 October. According to Pandit Astrologer Narendra Upadhyay, Saptami will prevail throughout the day on 9th and till noon on 10th October. Therefore, Saptami fast can be observed on 9th October as well as on 10th October.
Ashtami fast with Saptami is not valid – According to Pandit ji, Ashtami Tithi will start in the afternoon on 10th October. In Hindu religious texts, it is prohibited to observe Ashtami fast with Saptami, whereas Navami fast with Ashtami can be observed. Therefore, it would be best to observe Ashtami fast on 11th October only. This year Chaturthi Tithi is increasing and Navami is decreasing. Therefore Navami will also be celebrated on 11th October.
Kanya Puja on 10th October- Pandit ji told that Kanya Puja can be done on any day during Navratri to get the blessings of Goddess Bhagwati. The auspicious time for Kanya Puja will be from 06:18 am to 07:45 am. After that, the auspicious time for Kanya Puja will be from 12:07 pm to 01:34 am and from 01:34 pm to 03:01 pm.
Joint worship of Ashtami and Navami – According to astrology, people who worship on both Ashtami and Navami days, can worship Ashtami in the morning and Navami in the afternoon or evening on 11th October.
