The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked all schools to complete 100 percent registration process for classes 9th and 11th without late fees by October 16. School authorities have been instructed to complete the registration process by visiting the Pariksha Sangam portal on the CBSE website.
CBSE has issued a strict warning to schools saying that no student will be allowed to register during the submission of List of Candidates (LOC) next year. This change comes in response to repeated cases where schools missed registering students during the initial period and tried to add them later while submitting the LOC for the board exams.
Board warned schools
Furthermore, the board has warned schools that any mistake made during the registration process will be taken seriously. All schools have been asked to ensure that registration of all eligible students is done before the deadline to prevent complications during the board exam phase.
The Board stressed that the reasons given by schools for non-registration include:
Hospitalization of students Clerical errors Technical glitches Omission of names Students leaving the station
This is the registration deadline for class 9th and 11th
As per the schedule, registration for CBSE Class 9, 11 will end on October 16 without any late fees. If registration is not completed by the stipulated deadline, a late fee of Rs 2,300 will have to be deposited. The last date for depositing late fees is October 24, 2024. All payments should be made online as per CBSE guidelines, and offline payments or direct bank deposits will not be accepted. Schools are expected to adhere to the timelines, as failure to register students within the specified period may lead to serious consequences, including debarment of the student’s eligibility to appear for board examinations.
