Passengers faced problems due to bomb threat in Indigo flight. Indigo flight had to be grounded for several hours at Shamshabad airport after receiving a bomb threat. This flight had come from Coimbatore and was going to Chennai via Hyderabad. Officials are trying to trace the person who sent this threatening email.
Bomb threat was received through email
Officials have informed that a bomb threat to the flight was received through email. It was said that there was a bomb on the flight. After getting information about the incident, all the passengers got off the plane and investigation was started immediately.
The plane was examined by the officials for about 6 hours. Nothing suspicious has been recovered in the investigation. Later the plane got the green signal to go to Chennai and the plane took off without any problem.
