New Delhi. Now a new twist has come in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. The notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for this murder and claimed through a Facebook post that the reason for this murder was Baba Siddiqui’s alleged relationship with Dawood Ibrahim. However, this Facebook post has not been confirmed yet by Mumbai Police and has said that it will be investigated.
What was said in the Facebook post?
In a Facebook post going viral on social media, Bishnoi gang has written, “Om Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. I understand the essence of life, I consider body and money as dust. What was done was a good deed, what was followed was the duty of friendship.” Through this post, the gang has made it clear that they had no enmity of any kind with Salman Khan, but the reason for the murder of Baba Siddiqui was his old relationship with Dawood Ibrahim.
Police investigation on authenticity of post
Mumbai Police says that the authenticity of the Facebook post has not been confirmed yet. This post has been made from an account named ‘Shubu Lonkar Maharashtra’, which is being investigated by the Anti Extortion Cell. Police say that any conclusion can be reached only after investigation of the post.
Threat given to Salman Khan
Bishnoi gang has also mentioned Salman Khan in its post and said, “We did not want this war, but you got our brother (Lawrence Bishnoi) harmed. The decency of Baba Siddiqui, who is being talked about today, was once involved in the MCOCA Act along with Dawood.” The gang has warned that whoever helps Salman Khan and Dawood gang will have to pay the price. Anuj Thapan has also been mentioned in this post, who had fired outside Salman Khan’s house. Anuj had died in police custody, and the gang claims that this murder is revenge. The gang wrote, “We have never attacked before. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, Salaam Shaheedan Nu.”
Identification of three shooters
In the investigation of Baba Siddiqui murder case, Mumbai Police has so far identified three shooters and the search for the mastermind of the case is going on. However, the Bishnoi gang has claimed that Baba Siddiqui had a past association with Dawood Ibrahim and his alleged “honour” was just an illusion.
The mother of Shiva, the absconding accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, said, “He had gone to Pune to work in a junkyard. That’s all I knew. I had no idea what he was doing in Mumbai… He had come home on Holi. After that he did not come. He was not even talking to me on call, so I cannot say anything about the incident. His age is around 18-19 years…”

Police face new challenge due to gang warning
Due to gang threats and Salman Khan’s name appearing in this whole matter, new challenges have arisen before the police. The gang has clearly said that whoever harms any of their brothers, they should be prepared for their reaction. Now it remains to be seen how the police solve this case, especially when this case is political and related to Bollywood.
