Jharkhand Election 2024: As soon as the date of assembly elections in Jharkhand was announced, political turmoil regarding seat sharing has intensified. An important meeting is going to be held tomorrow regarding seat sharing in the ruling alliance. Former Deputy CM of Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is also going to reach Ranchi tomorrow. Leaders of Congress and Left parties will also be present in this meeting to be held with JMM leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Informed sources associated with the ruling coalition say that if a consensus is reached between all the parties, the seat sharing will be finalized on the same day.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is going to visit Ranchi on October 19. Rahul Gandhi will be informed about the decisions to be taken in tomorrow’s meeting and after his consent the seat distribution will be announced. After this, the process of announcement of names of candidates on various seats by the parties included in the ruling alliance will also begin.
Hemant Soren’s meeting with Congress leaders
According to the announcement made by the Election Commission, voting is to be held in Jharkhand in two phases on 13th and 20th November. In such a situation, now less than a month is left for the first phase of voting. For this reason, efforts have been started by the ruling party and the opposition to finalize the seat sharing as soon as possible. Efforts are being made by the top leadership of JMM to complete the seat sharing quickly.
In this connection, Chief Minister Hemant Soren recently met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and National President Mallikarjun Kharge in the capital Delhi. Soren has also brainstormed with Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal regarding the Jharkhand elections. JMM’s Central General Secretary Vinod Pandey has also reached the capital Delhi yesterday. He has also brainstormed with big leaders of Congress regarding seats.
Due to this reason there was a problem in seat distribution
JMM leadership is trying to distribute seats on the basis of the old formula. The claims being made by RJD and Left parties have created a dilemma in seat sharing. This time both parties are claiming more seats. JMM leader Hemant Soren says that the ruling alliance will contest elections on all 81 seats of Jharkhand. JMM is preparing to contest elections on more than 43 seats in the state while Congress may get 29 seats. This issue will be discussed in detail during the meeting to be held tomorrow.
Tejashwi and Rahul’s approval will be approved
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s visit to Ranchi tomorrow regarding seat sharing is considered very important. State RJD Principal General Secretary Sanjay Kumar Yadav said that Tejashwi Yadav will meet party leaders and workers in Ranchi. He will also brainstorm with senior party leaders regarding the elections. Only after this will it be decided on how many seats RJD will contest in Jharkhand.
Tejashwi Yadav is scheduled to stay in Ranchi on October 19 also and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also going to reach Ranchi on the same day. In such a situation, it is believed that seat sharing will be announced after the final consent of these two leaders.
After the announcement of election dates in Jharkhand on Tuesday, political activities have intensified in the capital Ranchi. After the seat distribution is finalized, the names of the candidates will be announced and with this the election campaign will formally begin.
