NDA meeting
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party is very excited with the victory of Haryana. Naib Singh Saini is going to take oath as CM for the second time. Immediately after the swearing-in, the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of NDA ruled states will participate in a conference organized by BJP in Chandigarh. In this conference, development issues, ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ of the Constitution and completion of 50 years of ‘attempt to murder’ of democracy in the context of Emergency will be discussed.
National development issues will be included
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President JP Nadda will attend the event. This is being seen as a fresh attack by the ruling coalition on the opposition parties, especially the Congress, after the BJP’s remarkable victory in the Haryana Assembly elections. “The event will have a systematic agenda that will include issues of national development. It will also discuss topics like celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of the Constitution and the 50th anniversary of the attempt to assassinate democracy,” the BJP said in a statement.
13 CMs and 16 Deputy CMs of BJP will participate
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will also lead the discussion. The conference will begin immediately after the swearing-in ceremony of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for the new term. The BJP has 13 chief ministers and 16 deputy chief ministers while the chief ministers of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Nagaland and Meghalaya are from allies, the statement said.
First conference of NDA Chief Ministers
This will be the first such conference of NDA Chief Ministers in the last several years. The BJP is excited by the victory in Haryana ahead of the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand next month. She, along with her allies, wants to leave no stone unturned in cornering ‘India’, a coalition of opposition parties. In both the states, NDA is competing with ‘India’ alliance.
