Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray met Sharad Pawar on Sunday. At the same time, Congress has sent its working committee member Naseem Khan to Mumbai for talks with Sharad Pawar. Naseem Khan told the media that Sharad Pawar is the founder of Mahavikas Aghadi and he had talked to him. According to the information, Uddhav Thackeray is demanding many seats in Mumbai and Vidarbha region for his Shiv Sena-UBT. Congress is not ready to give these seats. At the same time, Uddhav Thackeray is adamant on the distribution of seats in Mahavikas Aghadi. Uddhav’s party MP Sanjay Raut has even said that everything is possible in politics.
Due to the tussle over seat distribution in Mahavikas Aghadi, the meeting of the Central Election Committee of Congress to be held on Sunday was also postponed. This meeting of Congress can be held today or in a day or two. Through sources, the media has reported that Congress is also preparing that if the issue of seat sharing in Mahavikas Aghadi is not resolved, then it alone will field its candidates on all 288 seats. At the same time, there is news about the ruling grand alliance that BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP have agreed on most of the seats. Talks are going on between the leaders of Mahayuti for sharing of about 10 seats. BJP has declared 99 candidates for Maharashtra Assembly elections on Sunday itself. BJP has canceled the tickets of 10 old MLAs.
