An important cabinet meeting of the Sukhu government is going to be held in Himachal Pradesh today. Many important decisions are expected to be taken in this cabinet meeting to be held at the State Secretariat in Shimla. In the meeting to be held under the chairmanship of CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, a decision can also be taken on filling the vacant posts and creating new posts in various government departments.
The new home stay policy may also get cabinet approval. Besides, a decision can also be taken on home stays run by people from outside Himachal. Actually, many home stays in Himachal are running without any rules and regulations and in an illegal manner. The government has also received complaints regarding these several times. In such a situation, the government is preparing to impose strict conditions on home stay.
According to media reports, apart from this, approval can also be given to build 40 charging stations in the green corridor declared for electric vehicles and ending interviews for Van Mitra recruitment policy.
Along with this, the proposal to honor college lecturers with state level teacher award for the first time on the lines of school teachers can be discussed in the cabinet meeting from the academic session 2025-26.
Let us tell you that before this, the state cabinet meeting was held on 20th September. In which it was decided to fill 180 posts in various departments, build a 50-bed critical care block in the civil hospital in Dehra assembly constituency and open the electricity board’s superintendent engineer office and block medical office in Dehra itself.
