Kazan (Russia), October 22 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kazan city of Russia on Tuesday to participate in the 16th BRICS conference. Where he held bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During this, PM Modi once again mentioned the Russia-Ukraine war.
He said before the President of Russia that problems should be solved only in a peaceful manner. We fully support the early restoration of peace and stability. Along with this, PM Modi also expressed his gratitude to Russian President Putin for giving him a wonderful welcome.
PM Modi said, “I express my gratitude to you for your friendship and warm welcome, it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to come to a beautiful city like Kazan for the BRICS Summit. India has deep ties with this city. And there have been historical relations. These relations will be further strengthened with the opening of the new Consulate of India in Kazan.
He said, “My visit to Russia twice in the last three months reflects our close coordination and deep friendship. Our annual summit held in Moscow in July has strengthened every sector. I am grateful for the successful chairmanship of BRICS in the last one year.” Congratulate you, it has created its own identity in the last 15 years and now many countries of the world want to join it. I am eager to participate in the BRICS Summit.
PM Modi said, “We have been in constant touch on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As I have said earlier, we believe that problems should be resolved only peacefully. Peace and stability will be achieved soon. We fully support humanity in all our efforts. India is ready to provide all possible support in the times to come.
PM Modi has reached Russia on the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Where the 16th BRICS summit is being organized under the chairmanship of host Russia.
