The film is in the headlines due to its pre-release business and has joined the Rs 1000 crore club even before its release. After the immense success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, the audience is eagerly waiting for ‘Pushpa 2’, in which Allu Arjun will be seen in the role of Pushparaj.
The film won the pre-release business
According to media reports, ‘Pushpa 2’ has earned a huge amount of Rs 640 crore from its theatrical rights. At the same time, Netflix has bought the OTT streaming rights of the film for Rs 275 crore. Thus, the film has crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark by doing tremendous business in pre-release itself.
Big earnings in India and abroad
The film has earned Rs 220 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 200 crore in North India, Rs 50 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 30 crore in Karnataka, Rs 20 crore in Kerala and Rs 140 crore from the international market. Apart from this, the music rights of the film have also been sold for Rs 65 crores. Besides, Rs 85 crore has also been earned from satellite rights. Overall, Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 425 crore from its non-theatrical rights.
Starcast and direction of the film
‘Pushpa 2’ is directed by Sukumar, and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will be seen in lead roles along with Allu Arjun in the film. Apart from this, according to reports, Shraddha Kapoor can also be seen doing an item song in this film.

It is noteworthy that ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which was released in 2021, was a huge success at the box office and collected Rs 300 crore. Allu Arjun was also awarded the National Award for this film.
