ACP Ajay Gupta has organized blood donation camps before also. Last year, on the occasion of Foundation Day of Delhi Police, he had organized a blood donation camp at Sansad Marg Police Station. At that time 106 units of blood were donated in the camp. ACP Ajay Gupta continues to actively participate in various works of public interest.

This is the reason for organizing Police Memorial Day

Every year on 21 October, Police Memorial Day is celebrated across the country. Police Memorial Day is organized to honor the martyrdom of policemen who lost their lives while performing their duty in the service of the country. On this day, tribute is paid to the martyred policemen and their bravery and contribution to the country is appreciated. On 21 October 1959, Indian policemen were attacked while patrolling the China border in which 10 policemen were martyred. A year after this incident, on 21 October 1960, Police Memorial Day was organized for the first time in the memory of those martyred policemen. Since then, Police Memorial Day is celebrated every year on 21st October across the country. This day is a very proud day for the policemen.
