Washington: America has sent back Indian citizens living illegally in the country. America took cooperation from the Indian government for this. After this, all the illegal immigrants were sent back to their country through a special hired plane. The US Department of Homeland Security said that this work was possible with the cooperation of the Indian government. The department said on Friday that this aircraft was sent to India on October 22.
Acting Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Kristy A. Canegalo said, “Indian citizens who have no legal basis to stay in the United States can be immediately deported.” The statement said the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will continue to enforce US immigration laws and take strong action against those entering illegally and encourage the use of legal routes.

The US Home Department said that DHS repatriated more than 1,60,000 individuals in fiscal year 2024 and conducted more than 495 international extradition flights to more than 145 countries, including India. DHS has evacuated people from many countries around the world in the past year, including Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Egypt, Mauritania, Senegal, Uzbekistan, China and India. (Language)
