New Delhi. Like every year, before the onset of winter, the air in and around Delhi has become poisonous. There is tremendous pollution in Delhi. Air quality index i.e. AQI has reached above 350. AQI in Bawana, Delhi reached 380 on Monday. Fog was seen in Delhi in the morning. At the same time, poisonous foam in Yamuna river has also not reduced. Delhi government minister Gopal Rai has blamed stubble burning in Haryana and Punjab for pollution. He has said that the next 15 days are going to be very important in terms of pollution in Delhi. Recently, in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, it was stated that more than 1200 incidents of stubble burning took place in Punjab. At the same time, more than 650 cases of stubble burning were reported in Haryana also. Before this affidavit, Delhi CM Atishi had said that a lot of stubble is being burnt in Haryana. Due to which pollution is continuously increasing in Delhi. The festival of Diwali is also after three days. In such a situation, pollution in Delhi can reach a very serious situation by 30th October.

According to the Meteorological Department, from October 30, the wind speed in and around Delhi can be 12 kilometers per hour. If the wind blows at this speed, then pollution in Delhi and surrounding areas is expected to reduce. However, in the next few days, people living in Delhi and surrounding areas will have to be prepared to face a lot of pollution. In such a situation, do not go out unless necessary. Polluted air is especially dangerous for asthma and heart patients. Masks can also be worn to avoid pollution.
